Celebrate Earth Week - Events All Week!

Join DPRC in celebrating our Mother Earth during Earth Week, with a line-up of activities for environmental activists of all ages!

Tree sapling sale starts April 22.  Limited stock available.

MONDAY April 22 – Movie “An Inconvenient Sequel - truth to power” (90 minutes). Snacks provided, BYOB. Movie at 6:30 p.m., doors open at 4 p.m. $5 suggested donation

TUESDAY April 23 – “Trashy Tuesday” for kids and kids at heart. Arts and crafts with recycled materials. Hot dogs and snacks provided. $1 suggested donation 4-6 p.m.

WEDNESDAY April 24 – “Writer’s Wednesday” Join us to write postcards to legislators about our county’s most pressing environmental issues. 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. 

THURSDAY April 25 – Learn about H.R. 763, The Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act of 2019 with an informative presentation by James Zumstein. James is with the Janesville chapter of Citizens Climate Lobby. Snacks provided, BYOB. Presentation at 6 p.m., doors open at 4 p.m.

FRIDAY April 26 – Farm to Table Dinner & Trivia
Play environmental trivia while Exec Board Foodies, Tracy Thompson & Becka Freed serve up delicious bites derived from local farms and with seasonally available ingredients.  Doors open at 4 p.m with appetizers and drinks, dinner at 5:30 p.m.  $10 suggested donation
